No viewcell reuse in listview

My listview tests suggests that viewcells are not being reused in listviews. It looks like a viewcell is created for every item in the datasource.

Is this observation correct?

I noticed that @JasonASmith‌ in this bugzilla report mentions that "ListView is over the coming months going to cannibalize more and more of the TableView features (being able to add cells directly)". I sincerly hope that this does not mean that we're on a path towards a "dynamic" listview that consolidates on what appears to be static cell behaviour.

ps. I am testing on 1.31 pre-1

Since both Android and iOS share the same GetView/etc and GetCell/etc elegant cell reuse patterns, wouldn't it be possible to make 2 custom listview renderers that implemented something like the tableview's DequeueReusableCell?

A DequeueReusableViewCell that could instantiate custom XF viewcells? Sans binding and all the other performance-unfriendly architecture?
