Create Xamarin Library and use it in native app

naknak FRMember

I would like to know if it possible to :
1) Create a library with Xamarin in order to develop a common library for our Android and iOS project (a core library that would be used for all mobile project)
2) Use the library in Android (with Eclipse) or iOS (with xCode) project

The idea is to create a core library for all our entities (entities of different countries). And the entities can used their own technologies (xCode, Eclipse or other) to develop their own application but used our core library to begin.

I read a lot of posts and I think it's not possible without use Xamarin.iOS or Xamarin.Android but I would like to confirm that or to know if it's the Xamarin roadmap ?

Thank you

No, you cannot consume Xamarin libraries from Native code.

OK. Thank you for the answer. It was what I thought.

So, if we decided to create a core with Xamarin, it requires other entities to use Xamarin too ? And use, more specifically Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android for their project ? And it requires everybody to code with C# ?
