Not able to reference Xamarin Forms (Shared) project

I have created a XF (Shared) solution in Xamarin Studio. Written the code and tested it running well.

Then I opened that solution in VS2013 (Exp) and added a Windows Phone 8 Silver Light project. But when I try to add reference to the common shared project I don't see the shared project in the Solutions tab of the 'Add Reference' dialog.

How to add this reference?

Does VS2013 (Exp) mean an express edition of visual studio 2013? The express editions of visual studio do not support addins. So adding an xamarin extension would not be possible.

I am able to attach Xamarin.Forms package from NuGet. Also I am able to reference the PCL project but not the Shared (I mean Asset Shared Proejct).
