How can I do a release build without code signing? Right now the Release build fails with this error:
No valid Mac OS X code signing keys found in keychain.
At some point, you're probably going to want to sign your application before you distribute it. (Most modern Macs won't launch a non-signed application)
That being said, it's easy to disable code signing:
1) On your "Startup Project" right click and select "Options"
2) Under "Build" select "Mac OS X Packaging"
3) Select the correct configuration on the right hand side (ie. "Release")
4) Uncheck the box that says "Sign the Application Bundle"
Thank you for this pointer. However, that option is grayed out for me. Any idea why?
