Packaging Component with Xamarin Studio on Mac

I have purchased Xamarin Studio (Indie) for IOS. I am writing a library and would like to make it available via a component, can I still Package my component without the Microsoft Windows version ? (the submission guidelines only mention ".exe" files).

Cheers

So how do I go about packaging my component with only a Mac version of Xamarin ?

I guess You have seen this one:
    https://components.xamarin.com/guidelines

Check this solution I do work on. It is not over yet, but should give You rough idea. I need to minimize number of variables, but those were just for testing to see the dependencies (names, icon names, version)

In the solution there is component project in bat/ folder scripts for packing on Windows (bat files) and (sh, sh.command for packing on Mac)

    Sample Solution:

    https://github.com/moljac/Xamarin.Component.Template

Try just filling the variables and run those.

There are 4 steps (4 batches per OS)

    1. compile (optional)
    2. content - copying content
    3. pack
    4. unpack and test

A feedback would be welcome. I work on docs and cleanup, so if You could point out what was not clear I could fix it.

Note: Visual Studio project template is not up to date. I need to create new one.

    cheers

Thanks moljac, all I was missing was how to get a hold of "mono.exe" which can be downloaded free from http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html .
I downloaded the windows version and as you mention just followed the steps from https://components.xamarin.com/guidelines
