    How did you locate the navigation at the bottom side?
    Try this on a TabbedPage in xaml:

    xmlns:android="clr-namespace:Xamarin.Forms.PlatformConfiguration.AndroidSpecific;assembly=Xamarin.Forms.Core"
    android:TabbedPage.ToolbarPlacement="Bottom"

    And code behind

    On<Xamarin.Forms.PlatformConfiguration.Android>().SetToolbarPlacement(ToolbarPlacement.Bottom);

    I only use a bottom toolbar on UWP. There has been an issue in the positioning of the bottom toolbar on UWP for a long time, when doing:

    On<Windows>().SetToolbarPlacement(ToolbarPlacement.Bottom);

    Given that it's problematic on UWP, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that there are also issues on other platforms in specific scenarios (even on UWP, it's ok on some pages and not on others).
