I see a lot of different stuff out there. I want my Xamarin app to read and write to Google Calendar. I see CClarke.plugin.Calendars and a recommendation from James Montemagno, but then I see that the Nuget has not been updated for 2 years. Have not been able to get the download to work, due to permission error.

I see a lot of other libraries and stuff, but looking for the definitive best way to get started, so I don't go down a rabbit hole. Seems like a pretty basic function that a lot of people would want to do.

So what it is the current best practices recommendation to get started to accomplish this?
