I am very green in Mono and raspberry pi i have simple question is xamarin excitation to visual stdio is Mono? or some thing else and second question what project should i choose for raspberry pi?
When i open VS.
Your best bet is to read and learn from http://www.raspberry-sharp.org but in answer to your question you'll mostly be looking at Console applications, although you may be able to get away with GTK based apps if you've installed the right packages
The lnk that u posted i how to set Mono develop on raspberry pi witch is great but working on it with mono is really slow.
where i can get Mono Develop to download because every where i goggled all links end up here.
But i did succeeded to download Mono develop on ubuntu is there same for windows or only xamarin?
I found this on Microsoft site http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/7fbae0bb-7ddf-498d-8a2a-73f96b72d749
As u can see on the right they have a picture according to it i was thinking that after i download the xamarin i will get the same option near tools new tab called mono.
Is this true?
Thx man !!!!
For the purposes of Raspberry Pi / Gtk / Console C# apps Monodevelop and Xamarin Studio is the same thing, Xamarin Studio has extras (paid for licences) that you need for iOS, Android and Xamarin.Mac development - so Xamarin Studio would work fine for you.
Can't speak for Ubuntu, it may be they have their own package of Monodevelop, but their certainly seem to be links via http://monodevelop.com/Download
I would develop the apps on another machine (Win/Linux/Mac) and then debug on Pi. It does seem like the hard floating point support has been added to Mono which will solve quite a few problems with Pi. I might have to dig up mine and start playing with it more.
