LaunchScreen Does Not Show

I'm having an issue where I can't get a launch screen to show on a simulator. I've tried putting the storyboard inside the Resources folder, as well as just in the iOS folder. The LaunchScreen dropdown is set, and the storyboard just has an orange background so I know it's not a syntax issue. Are there any common areas to go wrong with this? Questions from the past mentioned clearing out Asset Catalogs, but that seems to no longer be an option in Info.plist.

    Try the following steps .

    1. Add a new storyboard file into project and give it another name like MyView.storyboard.

    2. Restart visual studio .

    3. Select the storyboard in the drop down of Launch Screen in info.plist .

    4. Delete application from Simulator and reboot Simulator .

    5. Run again !
