Android Buttons show ripple effect only on the upper left area of the button on Samsung devices when changing/setting the buttons background-colour
Steps to Reproduce
Place a button in your layout.
Set the buttons background color.
Run your app on a Samsung device
Press the button.
Expected Behavior
Butten should highlight with a normal ripple effect

Actual Behavior
Highlight with ripple only appears in the left upper part of the button.

Basic Information
Version with issue: 2.5.0.2805555 & 2.6.0.251661(nightly build)

Last known good version: -

IDE: Visual Studio 2017

Platform Target Frameworks:

Android SDK: 8.1
Android Support Library Version: 27.02

Using appcompatactivity

NuGet Packages: -

Affected Devices: Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Galaxy Tab (S2) with Android 7, did not test on different android versions

    Android Buttons show ripple effect only on the upper left area of the button on Samsung devices

    If this issue only occurs on Samsung devices, this may be caused by compatibility issues between Xamarin and Samsung system. Please report the issue on github or Samsung project team, you can get more professional there.
