I'm reading some reviews on Prism and MvvmCross, right now Prism is winning the fight. Do you have some advice or thought about which mvvm framework should I use in order to save performance?
We haven't had the need to go looking for a 3rd party system. The built-in MVVM support is serving us well.
I agree with @ClintStLaurent that for simple projects the XF mvvmtooling is sufficient. I've used Mvvmcross extensively with cross platform Xamarin native apps and it is leading the charge in that area for sure. I've found it a little much for XF projects so I've used FreshMvvm. All three are great options but I would reccomend you at least consider FreshMvvm for a lightweight Mvvm framework. If all you want is IoC and some nice navigation tooling it may be a good choice for you.
Best of Luck!
