Do we have this control in Xamarin Forms. Is there any way that we can achieve this in Xamarin Forms ?
That's a Xamarin site. Did you try to download it and install it? Did you see if it is available through Nuget like the page suggests?
Its available only for Android, it is an Android component. I just wanted to know is it available for Xamarin.Forms or is there any way to get this done in Xamarin.Forms?
Ahhhh... That clarifies it. Thanks. It is a nifty effect. Good luck on your hunt. Or in making it from scratch.
You will be able to look at the source code of the component, copy of over the logic and make use of the DependencyService to pull this off in forms for Android, as for iOS you'll have to write the platform specific code yourself.
Hi @SanthoshKumar.0936 ,
Did you achieve this by rendering Shimmer in Android and iOS of Xamarin Forms....
Check out the new Xamarin.Forms Shimmer Control by Syncfusion.
Syncfusion shimmer doesnt work with listview if you are pulling data from sqlite with one shot or from a remote webservice. In another way of saying, sfShimmer visibility depends on Itemsource of listview. if itemssource isnt binded, shimmer is not displayed. if itemsource is binded, it makes no sense to show shimmer anyway.
