.android project in Xamarin.Forms project fails to open in visual studio 2015

AbhiVazeAbhiVaze Member ✭✭

I create a xamarin.forms project on visual studio 2017. But now when I'm trying to open it in visual studio 2015, the .android and .iOS projects fail to open.
Please find screenshot attached.

Xamarin is installed in 2015.

Try to delete the .Droid.csproj.user file and .vs floder. Then reload the Android Project.

Right click the .Droid project -> Open Folder in File Explorer and you'll see the file.

But loading of project is failing, so on right clicking it, "open folder in file explorer" option is missing.

Open the directory of the project file directly to find the folder.

Copy the project file created on VS 2017 and delete the .Droid.csproj.user file and .vs floder. Then open the project on VS 2015.
