Visual Studio for Mac - Enable Push notifications exception

Xamarin.Mac app

I setup all the certificates etc as per the online documentation I found for Xcode since couldn't find any official Xamarin.Mac documentation.

I do use the correct development provisioning profile.

I register the remote connection with:

NSApplication.SharedApplication.RegisterForRemoteNotificationTypes(NSRemoteNotificationType.Badge);
NSApplication.SharedApplication.RegisterForRemoteNotifications();

The FailedToRegisterForRemoteNotifications function keep throwing with an exception.

Error I receive: "Application not properly entitled for push notifications."

The option to enable "Push Notification" is not available in the IDE.

I wrote a HelloMac sample app in Objective C - Xcode and it does get a valid push token where didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken execute with a valid token.

I copied the entries that Xcode wrote for "Push Notification" enable to the Entitlements.plist file.

I think there is a configuration issue.

    If you believe this is a bug in the bindings, feel free to file a bug. Else, posting your C# and Obj-C code here would be very useful.
