In App Test Subscription always returns Payment Pending

Has anyone had any success on handling subscriptions on Android?
I'm using Montemagno's InAppPurchase plugin but test subscriptions with and without free trial always return the status as Payment Pending. I'm at a loss as to how to handle checking if the subscription is purchased.
Anyone?

Could you please post more details?
I have the same issue. When using test subscriptions, after the user subscribes, the status of the payment is always PaymentPending. Is this also the case after the app is published?
