    Hi,
Check namespace of file in xaml file and class file.
    Both needs to be same.

This does not solve the problem. It is doing this to me in Visual Studio for Mac on every single XAML file in my project. Issue has been ongoing for months. I wish the Xamarin team would post something on this and let us know if there are any actions that developers should take to resolve the issue.

Can you post the full error details and an example XAML page with code behind?
Don't think I've ever seen this myself so would be great if we can sort it for you.

Does this happen every time yoiu compile? I assume it is a fatal error which prevents successful compilation. Correct?

Are you running the latest Xamarin and VS versions?
