Can't get iOS Simulator to launch from Visual Studio. Xcode version: 10, VS Version: 15.8.7. Simulator just shows that is is "Connecting to Mac" and "Checking server"->"Connected". Please help.

It is the normal issue on visual studio relating to simulator.

    • You can disable Romote Simulator to Windows and see it on the mac .

    • If you still want to watch simulator on Windows computer, try the following steps

      1. Delete bin and obj folder and rebuild .

      2. Restart visual studio and reconnect to the mac.

      3. Check the build log under Help - Xamarin - Open Logs .

@ColeX , found this trick without reading your post..! The best solution.
But when simulator is open in the paired mac, the pair to mac get disconnected in windows VS which must be resolved.
