Password text exposed after rotation

After typing into the password edit text the text is hidden but on a rotation the password text is exposed.

I have the edit text input type set to "textPassword". Is there anything else I need to do?

    After looking a bit more I found the problem to be with a custom keyboard overlay and not a bug with Xamarin itself. I'll mark this as closed or delete the question if I can

    Where?
    I think your solution is for xamarin.forms where as I am using only xamarin.android.

    I am not worked on xamarin android, I got the following answer from another thread, can you please try that.

    There's two ways. You can update your XML layout and add the following attribute to your XML EditText layout:

    android:inputType="textPassword"

    Or you can programmatically set it to:

    this.sPassword.InputType = InputTypes.TextVariationPassword;

    I can't reproduce your issue on my side. Could you provide a demo or basic steps to reproduce the issue?
