@(Content) build action is not supported

When i try to build i get this error: '@(Content) build action is not supported' how can i solve this?

    Thanks, it helped me. I had to switch to another acrion AndroidResource . It happened when I switched layout from axml to xml and it changes to Content action automatically :/

    If you added a new resource such as an xml, be careful to select the right Build Action like others in the folder. I solved this because my resource was action build "content" and i changed it to "AndroidResource".

  • I have faced the same problem while Archive for Publishing.
    For me, I missed to set the app icon before make release build in AndroidManifest.xml
