iOS simulator not launching after Xcode and iOS 11.12 update

The iOS deploy process does not start while trying to debug my Xamarin.iOS application. There are no build/deploy errors. I can connect to the Mac through mac agent and see the list of the simulators. However nothing happens after the build succeeds. (See attached output log below)

1>------ Build started: Project: CommissionApp.iOS, Configuration: Debug

These reference conflicts are listed in the build log when log verbosity is set to detailed.

Tried rebooting Mac and Windows and running VS as administrator. No Luck. Any solutions will be greatly helpful.

    @ashritha

    (thread moved to Xamarin.iOS forum)

    Can you post your version info for both Visual Studio on Windows and Visual Studio for Mac?

    Version Information

    In Visual Studio (Mac), version information can be obtained by navigating to: Visual Studio -> About Xamarin/Visual Studio -> Show Details -> Copy Information button.
    In Visual Studio (Windows), version information can be copied from: Help -> About Microsoft Visual Studio -> Copy Info button.

    It ay also be worth posting the following:

    IDE Log Files

    Visual Studio (Windows) log files can be found from Help->Xamarin->Open Logs

    Build Server Log Files (Mac) (if using Visual Studio)

    The build server log files can be found in:
    ~/Library/Logs/Xamarin-[MAJOR.MINOR] (e.g. 4.0 or 4,1 depending on the version of Xamarin for VS you are using) (Might be 1.1 due to an error in the naming of the log folder in Xamarin for VS 4.8)
    Note that the ~/Library folder is hidden by default in Finder, so if need be use Finder's Go->Go to Folder menu and enter ~/Library/Logs/Xamarin-4.0 to open the folder.
