Installing components in Portable library

Is there any way to add Xamarin Components to portable class library. How do we do this ?

    Hi Cheesebaron,

We can install the components by right clicking the components folder and choosing the "Get more components" from an android Project or iOS Project. But can we do the same in a portable library project which can support both android and iOS?

No you can't do that. As components are split in seperate Android and iOS projects.

Just to open this up again, if I wanted to create a shared library for both ios and android frontends that both use third party libraries, e.g. rest#, what is the recommended pattern? Create two native projects and use wildcards for including .cs files?

If you want to use non-PCL libraries in PCL library then Dependency Injection will accomplish that.
