Tint color not working in storyboard editor

nvdplasnvdplas Member

I am having trouble getting the tint color to work in the storyboard editor.
I have added an image (an icon) to my assets and specified it to be a template image.
When I use this image in an ImageView and set the tintcolor property to a certain color, nothing happens at runtime.
Setting the tintcolor property from code works as expected.

Am I missing something here?

Can you share a simple to help us reproduce your issue? If asset image with template render mode can't work for you. Try this code: MyImageView.Image = MyImageView.Image.ImageWithRenderingMode(UIImageRenderingMode.AlwaysTemplate);. In this way you can modify the tintColor in the storyboard too, even though you haven't changed the image's render mode in the assets.
