How to set bottom Navbar in Xamarin Forms

    I created a custom controltemplate in my app.Xaml and build my navigation bar in the bottom part of my frame. There are several decent tutorials on how to create a control template, but its not super hard (I figured it out fairly quickly).

    To get rid of the native navigation bar, in the code behind after initializecomponent() you need to add:
    NavigationPage.SetHasNavigationBar(this, false);
