What do I need in info.plist for icons?

I am now using Visual Studio 2017 and need to update my app. I was able to submit fine before but it has been a few months.
I tried submitting my changes but I get an email back A value for the Info.plist key 'CFBundleIconName' is missing in the bundle ......etc
I tried adding this:
to info.plist but it still comes back. What do I need to do with this? I tried googling for it but I can't find a specific reason and any potential fix refers to XCode. I am using an asset catalog and all the icons are there under AppIcons

Ok, it turns out I am using info.plist for images. I have it set to use an asset catalog but it is being ignored for some reason. If i remove the files from info.plist, then when I submit I get a lot of errors about icon files missing.
This is so freaking frustrating, why is it not using the asset catalog? All the images are listed in there. I tried deleting it and re-creating it but it acts like I am not using one. Maybe this is causing the first error?
