I can not choose any simulator from visual studio 2017 for mac to run my application
visual studio 2017 for mac 7.4
Did you install the simulators on your mac?
XCode -> Preferences -> Components
Yes, I have it installed, I can open the simulator with:
xcode -> Open Developer Tool -> Simulator
but when I choose where to try or run my iOS application does not give me the option or the simulator that is running or to choose another.
It's like Visual Studio for Mac did not know that there are simulators installed on the Mac
The application runs perfect on my iphone but I can not test it on any simulator
Did you try to change the option to Debug | IphoneSimulator ?
From Visual Studio 2017 for Mac I can not choose that option.
I can only choose: (Simulator)
Appstore | IphoneSimulator
Ad-Hoc | IphoneSimulator
but in none of those two shows me the list of devices (simulator) available.
now I will try going back to
Command Line Tools (mac 10.13) for xcode 9.3
Additional Tools for xcode 9.3
try going back to the previous version of xcode(9.3), but it still does not work
I can only choose connected devices
