Use Azure credits to pay for Xamarin University?& Why no cost when subscribing to Xamarin Univerity?

EricXEricX USMember

Hello!

First question: Will the cost of Xamarin University be deducted from my Azure monthly credit? When signing up it demands that I use a sub that has a credit card attached to it.

Second question: Why doesn't it show how much it will cost when actually signing up for Xamarin University? It says to check out the pricing calculator and it provides the link, but the calculator doesn't say anything about Xamarin University. Pretty hokey.

Thank you for your help.

If you sign up through the visual studio market place you have the option to pay monthly with your azure account.

There are some free self-guided learning classes in xamarin university you can use to become a Xamarin Certified Mobile Professional.

Yes, it appears as though Azure monthly credit is applied to the cost of the Xamarin University. Although I'll have to wait for the billing to go through before I know for sure.

Regarding pricing, they changed something and it does now show actual cost before you seal the deal via the Azure subscription.

I'm in the same boat, as I can't determine if my Azure credits will be applied to XamU. And the link to pricing calculator is useless for XamU. I can't imagine sales being robust when users can't determine the cost before ordering...

I've got my invoice today and it appears that the Xamarin University costs have been calculated separately/independently from my Azure Credits.
