Odd reference behavior

I am getting the following error in my application (that was previously working fine) even though monotouch is referenced. I have removed and re-added the reference to this exact assembly multiple times.

Error CS0012: The type MonoTouch.UIKit.UIImagePickerController' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. Consider adding a reference to assemblymonotouch, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' (CS0012)

This version of monotouch.dll (with PublicKeyToken=null) is an old version - most likely you have a third-party dll which references this old version.

The C# compiler will give you a source code location, which is likely where you're using code from that third-party dll.

Once you know which dll it is, you can use this tool to fix it: https://github.com/rolfbjarne/iOSRefUpdater
