Remove Xamarine version from Source Code - Security Reasons

I would suggest to remove the version of Xamarin from the source code in order to make it harder for hackers to identify security bugs and vulnerabilities.
Do you think it can be supported?

Can you clarify what you mean? Remove version information?

    Hi James.
Xamarin includes a banner which includes the version, something is common with many applications, libraries and scripts.
From the perspective of a security consultant, it enables hackers to get information which can be used in order to plan attacks on the application based on the Xamarin version which is used.
As you know there are prior versions with security vulnerabilities and there is a constant research in order to identify new vulnerabilities so it's more than advised to remove the banner which indicates the Xamarin version.

Ok. I'm being stupid here. Where is this banner? In the source or in the app's UI?
