Google Places autocomplete in Xamarin.Forms

Liuk88Liuk88 ITMember ✭✭✭

Hello guys, im pretty new to Xamarin and I'm working with Xamarin.Forms.
My question is: how can I achieve a "Google Places search bar" in Xamarin.Forms? I don't need map integration, just like a textbox in a page with the autocomplete, working in both Android/IOS.

I have searched but i didn't find nothing useful.

Thanks all :)

How do you import a project from GetHub into VS 2017

@RittenRA I don't know if you still need this answer but it's my first time stumbling on it and I figured no one have answered. I would advice you clone the project to your machine using "git clone" command in gitbash and then open the sln file in vs 2017

@saransh This is probably too late but the correct namespace to include is

    xmlns:places="clr-namespace:SearchPlaces;assembly=SearchPlaces"

Someone awesome packaged the project as a nuget, it's called SearchPlaces
