Is there a way to make navigation to layout files less painful?

In Android studio when I go to source on the resource for a layout file, it actually takes me to the layout file. For example, F12 on "devicedetail_settings_version_date" below would open the file that contains devicedetail_settings_version_date. In Visual studio, it uselessly takes me to the resources file. Is there a way to make this more developer friendly?

TextView currentVersion = v.FindViewById<TextView>(Resource.Id.devicedetail_settings_version_date);

    @Rexar5: Love the suggestion! I assume that you would want the resource file itself opened in Visual Studio?

    Yup, exactly. Same for styles, colors, etc. You can observe the behavior I'm looking for in Android Studio if you want to see an example (unless it's referencing a resource in some library code).
