Add left to right swipe on iOS ListView cells

edited December 2016 in Xamarin.Forms

Summary

Currently, it seems that the only way to show menu items is to swipe from right to left on iOS ListView. We should be able to chose directions (RTL or LTR,). For example, on iOS Mail app, I can swipe RTL to show More, Flag, Trash and LTR to mark an email Unread.

API Changes

public Enum MenuItemDirection
{
   // Default
   RightToLeft,
   LeftToRight
}

menuItem.On<iOS>().SetMenuItemDirection(MenuItemDirection.LeftToRight)

Intended use case

For people who want to customize menu items on iOS so that both directions can be utilized.
