Archive for Publishing generates 2 Files

When archiving a Xamarin Forms App - Android version, it generates 2 .apk's, a Signed and a non signed apk. Is this normal? For distributing, it should be used the signed version?

That's normal. Not all release builds need to be signed (if they aren't going into Google Play or Amazon App Store). When you publish your app, you will HAVE to use the signed APK. If you try to upload the unsigned to Google Play it will tell you that it wasn't signed properly and block the upload.

But, in order to provide the ad-hoc version, the signed or non signed, have any difference?

@bcaceiro you need to sign, apk wont install otherwise
