Windows.Globalization not found?

Hello Community,

I started a new Xamarin project and added a Windows8.1 project to the solution as described here. As soon as I build the Win-project I will get an error telling me The type or namespace name 'Globalization' does not exist in the namespace 'XXX.Windows' (are you missing an assembly reference?) inside App.Xaml.cs at line // Set the default language rootFrame.Language = Windows.Globalization.ApplicationLanguages.Languages[0];

But when I lean the solution, the error disappears and I can access the namespace as expected, until the next build.

Did I eventually miss something? Thanks for your help

    Maybe you created project with name ending .Windows (and namespace ends with .Windows)?
    If yes then this:
    Windows.Globalization.ApplicationLanguages.Languages[0];
    means that compiler should look for Globalization in your project.

    Just change name of your project (or just namespace) to not containing .Windows
