How to point Visual Studio to the keystore file?

With previous versions of Xamarin Visual Studio every time I wanted to sign an APK I would be asked where the keystore file is. I would select the keystore file from Tools/Android/Publish, enter logins/passwords/aliases etc. and I would get a signed APK.
I cant find currently how to do this with the following version of the product:

Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2015
Version 14.0.25431.01 Update 3
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.6.01055
Installed Version: Community
Visual C# 2015 00322-20000-00000-AA318
Microsoft Visual C# 2015
Visual C++ 2015 00322-20000-00000-AA318
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015
Xamarin (c4382f5)
Visual Studio extension to enable development for Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android.
Xamarin.Android (0e59c36)Visual Studio extension to enable development for Xamarin.Android.
Xamarin.iOS (6c3fee4)
Visual Studio extension to enable development for Xamarin.iOS.

I know I can specify the keystore file's path in the .cproject file but this is error-prone and I would rather not do it.
Is there a way to specify the keystore file's location from user interface?

Thank you

    I was going to ask the same question myself as the keystore used for a recently published app is buried within my user profile folder (Windows). It would be great if i can move this to a common location for other developers in my team to use the same keystore going forward, but i don't know how to tell Visual Studio 2015 (Update 3) to use a different path.

    Currently I edit the project file and enter manually the path to the keystore file, this is the advice I got from Xamarin. I also filed a bug:
