Shadow artifacts on Android

I have tested my game on my old Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Note 8, running Android version 4.4.2).
On that device I get graphical artifacts on the shadows for my nodes/models, it looks really distorted.

The shadows look totally fine on my LG G4 phone and on iPad Mini 2.
Is there something I can do to get it right on my old Android tablet, or is it hopeless cause on such old device?

    I remembered that I have an old C++ Urho3D game (based on a Urho3D version from 2015) on that old tablet, and it displays shadows correctly!
    So I don't have any clue whats's going on... any ideas?

    PS. I'm using UrhoSharp 1.1.125.

    I have tested some FeatureSamples which have shadows.
    Either no shadows are displayed (Physics sample) or the shadows look really distorted (VehicleDemo sample).

    Any clue what might be wrong?
