Is there anyone know the best way to apply custom font through out the Application environment?
I think the best way is to extend TextView and EditText so that they have their typeface set to whatever you want.
There are some examples how to do this in Java, which you should be able to convert to C#, here:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2376250/custom-fonts-and-xml-layouts-androidhttp://www.barebonescoder.com/2010/05/android-development-using-custom-fonts/
I will look at it a bit later and cook up a sample for you.
Here is a working sample: https://github.com/Cheesebaron/Cheesebaron.FontSample
Another way than overwriting TextView and EditText would be a method that iterates over all Sub Views and sets their Typefaces.
Are there memory concerns when doing this in C#? The stackoverflow article was updated recently with discussion concerning this.
When i want to run this examle i get the error: 'MyEditText.Tag' hides inherited member 'View.Tag'. Use the new keyword if hiding was intended.
