How to wake up the Application from suspension, when its push notification arrives to the device?
Thanks in advance.
The notification itself will not wake up the app. If the user interacts with the notification then it will launch your app if it's not launched already, but you can't have the notification automatically launch the app. That might be abused as a way of doing background processing.
@adamkemp Ok, thanks for your comment Adam. But what if my app is already in the background and is suspended after sometime by iOS. In that case, how can I know that I have received a RemoteNotification ?, since "DidReceiveRemoteNotification()" is not executed when the app is suspended.
I believe the answer is the same for suspended apps as not running apps.
ok Thanks @adamkemp
