mdtool doesn't build iOS project after Xamarin Insights package is added

After adding the Xamarin.Insights Nuget package to my iOS project, mdtool won't build this project.
I've attached two build outputs, one with Insights added to the project, and one without Insights.

This is exactly the same .sln. The only difference is the Xamarin.Insights package. With Xamarin.Insights, mdtools reports an error in Xamarin.Ide.Insights.ProjectExtension.CreateOrReplaceApiKeyIntellisenseFile
Any idea why?

    This sounds like an issue with the Xamarin Studio integration so moving to that forum.

    @VincentCostel - Thanks for reporting this. I have opened a bug report for this problem. You can add yourself to the cc list if you want to be notified when it is fixed.

    @VincentCostel This has been fixed and should be in the next service release.

    To workaround the issue remove

    from the .csproj and to replace

    Xamarin.Insights.Initialize (XamarinInsights.ApiKey);

    Xamarin.Insights.Initialize ("whatever your api key is");

    The workaround works. Thank you!
