Running android simulator with CocosSharp game solution doesnt work

I did follow this tutorial:

And the app runs fine in iphone simulator, but crashes in all android simulators.
I installed simulators via Xamarin Android Player

Does anyone others experienced the same problem?

Error message: "Unfortunately, BouncingGame.Android has stopped."

This also happens when I create a new CocosSharp Game solution and try to run the android simulator. It just crashes.

  • The problem was this

    Solved by rightclick on Android project -> Options -> Android Build -> General

    Uncheck "Use shared Mono runtime"

    -> Advanced

    Check x86

    -> Ok, and then it worked
