Windows: Toggle Line Comment hotkeys - XS 4.0.3 - VS Key Bindings chosen

NeilWhitlowNeilWhitlow USUniversity ✭✭

I searched bugzilla and forums and didn't find other complaints. Can anyone else reproduce?

In 4.0.3 I can select several lines of code...right-click context menu (which helpfully reminds me what my muscle memory already knew...CTRL K C ).

Selecting from context menu works. Using the CTRL K C hotkeys does not.

    This still happens on XS 4.0.5.
    It would be great if it got fixed.

    Is it also possible if the slashes (//) where put this way:

    class MyClass {
        //int i = 0;
        //float f = 12f;
    }

    Instead of the current behavior:

    class MyClass {
    //    int i = 0;
    //    float f = 12f;
    }

    I don't know about releases, but I reported this bug and they marked it fixed.

    Bug 12151

    It was a problem with the mapping only, and so subtle I didn't notice it till the dev responded to the bug. It is default defined in the VS scheme as CTRL K | C instead of what VS really has which is CTRL | K CTRL | C

    Until the fix comes down where you can use VS scheme in XS out of the box, you can easily remap so you use CTRL with both the K and C like I did.

    As for the slashes close to the code, that would be nice, but I'm just glad the toggle was simple mapping problem.
