Is there anything in the IDE log? You can find the logs under your user profile in:

    %AppData%\Local\XamarinStudio-5.0\Logs

Anything else in the logs, at the end? That is an error which should not cause it to fail to start.

  • alessandrobuzzialessandrobuzzi ITMember

    Ok.
I have uninstall, delete log folders and Reinstall

Now when I start I have the same error, I can't find XAMARINstudio-5.0 Log Folder but
from MONODEVELOP-5.0\logs folder I can view this error

The error looks to me as though the MonoDevelop.Debugger addin has somehow been disabled preventing Xamarin Studio from finding that command. You may be able to fix that by stopping Xamarin Studio and renaming the Cache directory to something like Cache-backup:

     %LOCALAPPDATA%\XamarinStudio-5.0\Cache

    Then restart Xamarin Studio.

    Thanx for your help Matt!
    but now (after delete & reinstall) I don't have a \XamarinStudio-5.0 in my AppData\Local.
I created a folder called xamarinstudio-5.0 and I put cache in that folder but nothing change

There is something I can made to totally remove, xamarin, monotouch and everything else and then Reinstall all?

  • mattwardmattward Xamurai GBMember Xamurai

    Uninstalling the software information.

Xamarin Studio will also create files in various profile directories which you can delete if you want to remove everything.

  • alessandrobuzzialessandrobuzzi ITMember

    Ok.
    I did the following steps:
    1) Uninstall xamarin
    2) Stop Service xamarin
    3) Manually Delete all xamarin's working folders
    4) Manually delete appdata xamarin & monotouch folders
    5) Manually delete all xamarin's registry keys (a lot !!)
    6) Reboot
    7) Reinstall

and finally seems to work !!

    Great!! Thankyou very much Matt!!
