How to add Monodroid support for custom Mono installation on Windows

I have a custom Mono installation on Windows machine. I can easily use it for compiling apps in Xamarin Studion just by pointing to this net runtime directory (in Options). However, I can no longer compile Monodroid apps. I assume that lots of things should be somehow linked: build targets, assembly directories, monodroid profiles etc etc. Somehow, it works out of the box on Mac (well, i tested with Monotouch there). But it seems to be an issue on Windows. Does anybody know how to add this support for Monodroid on custom Mono installation?

It's not supported. Xamarin.Android installs MSBuild targets into the .NET framework's MSBuild extensions folder. If you try to build with Mono on Windows, you use Mono's MSBuild implementation, xbuild, and the Xamarin.Android targets are not installed into the xbuild extensions folder.
