Anyone else with this issue? Can I roll back to an older version?

Thanks,

Fairly certain this just hit me as well; updated Xamarin Studio and attempted to load my PCL project and received an error noting something about an invalid or unsupported project type (I didn't think to note the error at the time in detail, apologies.)

Now, when I reopened the project everything seemed fine until I attempted to build and run on the iOS simulator.

At this point, I think my iOS project has lost its reference to the PCL project, so I am going to attempt to fix that first.

Yep, that sounds like the same issue.

An unwanted side effect is that Xamarin Studio removes the references to the unsupported project types from the solution, which is rather annoying.

I quit Xamarin Studio and relaunched it; loaded my solution, included the reference to the PCL project in the iOS project, and now everything is peachy again. I'm not sure if anything else changed, but that seems to be all; I have not updated anything else.

To add the PCL project reference back to the iOS project, expand the iOS project and right-click the References item, select Edit References... to open the dialog, select the Projects tab and ensure the PCL project is listed and checked.

Ok that's useful to know. I will update again and see if your solution works.

Well, I downgraded and then I upgraded again and the problem is gone.

For these that installed the current update,, I had the same issue, but close Xamarin Studio and re-open it and works.
