Strange crash after updating LaunchImages.launchimage/Contents.json

I'm running into a very strange crash. I updated my launch images in Contents.json to define new images for the new Retina HD 5.5 and 4.7 options. After doing this when I launch my app it crashes, although the crash is after showing the launch image. I've attached the good and bad versions of the JSON file.

I also find it odd that so many lines got changed when all I did was define the images for the three HD sizes.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

    I have exact same problem, our app crashes after i migrated to Asset Catalog and added iPhone 6 Plus launch image, have you solved your problem ?

    I've heard that this is fixed in the latest version in the Alpha channel, but I haven't tried it yet.
