Android Master Detail. Can I have Master and detail always visible one beside the other

I've a Master Detail Page.
I would like that, in portrait, the Master disappears and appears, but in landscape both are present on the display.
Is it possible?
I've tried App.MasterDetail.MasterBehavior but with no luck

    Ok, with MasterBehavior = SplitOnLandscape I have, in landscape, both view present on the display

    No... no...
    I'm a bit confused. Documentation is very poor.
    How does MasterBehavior works?
    Sometime (in landscape) master and detail are place side by side.
    Sometimes (in landscape) I can't place side by side (Master is over detail).

    In this image, the search box cursor present in the detail is over the master...

    The question is.
    How can I have master and detail placed side by side ?

    I thinks it's a bug

    Ok. I think to have understand the problem.
    I have MasterDetail.MasterBehavior = MasterBehavior.Split;
    If I have the tablet in my hand and have the display in front of me, "split" works fine.
    But if I have the tablet lie down (is it correct? do you understand me?) on the table, "split" does not work fine.
    @TheRealJasonSmith Could be that xamarin.forms does not display properly master and detail if the tablet is on the table?
