Receiving the error: The name "UIFont" does not exist in the current context

I am new to create iPhone apps in Visual Studio (Live Player). I’m trying to use a custom font and have found what I believe are the proper threads to learn about incorporating them.
Here is the line that contains the Font statement:
Font = UIFont.FromName("Times New Roman", 32)
However, when I go to run my app, I’m receiving the following error: The name "UIFont" does not exist in the current context.
Is there some Reference or "Using" statement that I’m supposed to have in order to access the UIAppearance keywords?
Thanks for your time in advance.
