Automatically take image with meta data

TylorTylor USMember

Goal: I am trying to take an image on a set time interval that is tagged with the geolocation.

What I have done: I have worked through samples and I have been able to get an image with meta data via the tweetstation camera class and images without meta data via the xamarin component and AVCapture.

What I need help with:
1. be able to take a picture with the UIImagePickerController without having to click the button and then confirm the picture.
2. attach the geolocation meta data to a picture that I took via the AVCapture.

Any thoughts or tidbits that are useful would be greatly appreciated.

    Is it possible to be able to save the image somewhere other than the camera roll and still retain the meta data?

            //captureDevice = AVCaptureDevice.DefaultDeviceWithMediaType(AVMediaType.Video);
            captureDevice = AVCaptureDevice.GetDefaultDevice(AVMediaType.Video);
