Best gitignore for project sharing

CaseCase John AlexanderUSMember ✭✭

I am having problems sharing a project with a co-worker.

We are both running Visual Studio 2017 Preview. The project is a PCL Xamarin.Forms project.

We've been having problems sharing the code. When I push code and she pulls the code down, she has to clean multiple times. Often restart Visual Studio, and then eventually it works.

I am using the following .gitignore

## Xamarin stuff

*.userprefs
Resource.designer.cs

## files generated by popular Visual Studio add-ons.

    Looks like the
    *.nuget.props
    project.lock.json
files have absolute paths to user directories. So I added them to the .gitignore

It looks pretty good to me. Why does you colleague have to clean the project?
Is it because of any errors?

A new issue has cropped up.

I am just sharing this project with one other developer, but every time there is an update - either to visual studio or a nuget package, chaos ensues.

Currently, when I try to merge my partners changes, I get conflicts in
    MyApp.UWP/MyApp.UWP.csproj
    MyApp.Droid/Resources/Resource.Designer.cs
    MyApp/v15/sqlite3/storage.ide

Is it safe to add these files to the exclusion list?
