"Resource.layout" does not contain a definition for "Main"

I have done proper connection between Mobile Device (Xamarin Live Preview) and Visual Studio Community 2017 Preview on PC. When I try to deploy it says "Resource.layout" does not contain a definition for "Main". Help me.
My Device is
Asus Zenfone 2 (Android 5.0 API 21)

Yeah same issue here. I'm using MvvmCross. I even created a simple application with just a button. And it still complained the same saying:

MainActivity.cs 'Resource.Layout' does not contain a definition for 'Main'

I'm guessing this is a bug but no idea what would be causing this.

Edit: Note that I'm using Xamarin on macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6.

The Xamarin Live Player only is compatible with Xamarin.Forms based applications.

For a Xamarin.Forms app? Do you have a small sample I can look at?

@JamesMontemagno I have Xamarin.Forms based application but with some Android UI defined in AXML files. Any news when Live Player will support this kind of applications?
