Since 10.12.4 and IOS 10.3 Instruments just quitting app when using GL buffer

Hello,

I've been using Instruments quite successfully to check for leaks up until today. When I run my app, every time I do a GL render to an offscreen buffer, my app simply quits. The app works fine running on it's own, and while being debugged by Xamarin. The app also ran fine in instruments last week, before the latest set of updates. Here are the calls right up to the problem:

Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries 
used by your application.

I only did some code cleanup, and while it's possible that I broke something that only affects instruments, I'm thinking it's something else.
